Silver frame with floral design border set with old-cut and cut diamonds, with a low-cut gold frame and back, decorated with black and white enamel, and a domed glass panel. Inside, a 15th-century oil painting on panel, a copy of Rogier van der Weyden's original "Magdalene Reading," which is in the National Gallery. Accompanied by its original velvet-lined case.
