Oil on canvas Signed lower left. Signed, dated and with identification of the subject on the back. Unpublished portrait of Emilia Sanchez-Guerra y Martinez (1868-1944), a native of Cordoba, who married Tirso Rodrigañez Sagasta (1853-1935), lawyer, politician, Minister of Finance and Governor of the Bank of Spain, first cousin of Praxedes Mateo-Sagasta. Her brother was Jose Sanchez-Guerra y Martinez (1959-1935), President of the Council of Ministers, also portrayed by Julio Romero de Torres, a good friend of the whole family.
