SILVER CATALINO CLOCK CIRCA 1840

Silver catalino clock, circa 1840, with a gilt metal dial engraved with three porcelain circles depicting courtship scenes. The back is decorated with incised figures of a woman wearing a hat and acanthus leaves. The movement is made of solid brass with an openworked spur and a verge escapement with an anti-friction diamond and oversized index regulator. Dimensions: Length: 63 mm. Width: 54 mm. Weight: 99 g.
