Robert Roskel savonette clock, Liverpool. 18k gold case, key-wound movement (key not included) and signed mechanism. Back cover with incised decoration, central cartouche with heraldic motifs framed by the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece and surrounded by acanthus leaves. Front cover with the same type of decoration, featuring a lion biting a snake. White enamel dial (crystal missing) with contrasting black Roman numerals, subdial with independent seconds hand and blued "poire" hands. Late 19th century. Weight: 68.5 g.
