Case back with profusely engraved decoration with a central shield-shaped cartouche bearing the owner's initials, dust cover engraved with the manufacturer's signature. White enamelled dial with black Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, subdial with independent seconds hand and Louis XVI -style gilt hands. Ca. 19th century.
