LEPINE CLOCK OF THE WIDOW OF CHARLES OUDIN CA. 1860.

Widow's Lepine clock by Charles Oudin, ca. 1860. Case made of ebony wood with black enameled porcelain cartouches for Roman numerals. Lid with silver initials and a marquise's crown; the case hangs from four silver chains forming part of a chateleine, which in turn is composed of a multiple agate seal and key. White porcelain dial signed CH. OUDIN BREVETE. Keyhole at six o'clock and beveled crystal. Bridge movement with cylinder escapement (needs servicing).
