A disciple of Simon Gomez, he moved to Paris at the age of fourteen, establishing his residence there and attLateing the Cabanel Academy as a disciple. He obtained different drawing and painting awards and specialized mainly in history painting. A good part of his production is preserved in France but some of his works were presented in the Sala Pares in Barcelona, as is the case of this monumental Zenobia, Salome or Herodias; following the fashionable theme at the time that liked to show these characters from the Bible and classical sources as a femme fatale, full of beauty and sensuality. The Perpignan Museum preserves two of his works among its collections: The Love of the Night and The Two Stars. Measurements: 200 x 130 cm.
