E.BORGEAT SABONETTE WATCH WITH CHIME, GOLD FRONT AND DIAMON

E. BORGEAT savonette watch no. 576 with striking mechanism (needs servicing) made of 18k yellow gold, remontoir movement. Covers with profuse incised decoration featuring vine leaves and grapes, dust cover with engraved characteristics. Silvered Elizabethan dial with applied cut-out cartouches of vegetal and floral motifs in two-tone gold, enameled Roman numerals, subdial with independent seconds at six o'clock, and gilt pear/sword-shaped hands. Circa mid-19th century. In working order. Accompanied by a short 18k rose gold chain with appliques and two-tone mesh with a concealed window for a reliquary (empty) and a small upper box decorated with old-cut diamonds with a total approximate weight of 2.68 ct.
