Bureau "à abattant" fernandino, Spain, early 19th century

Mahogany veneer with bronze and gilt brass applications. Concealed upper drawer, central hinged lid with compartmentalized interior (later), and three lower drawers. Carved, polychrome, and partially gilded claw-shaped wooden front legs and a period veined grey marble top (with flaws and restored). Dimensions: 137 x 91 x 44 cm.
