Art Deco sideboard, attributed to Michel Dufet, Rio de Jane

Made by Leandro Martins house. Veneered in different woods and metal. With three front doors (the central one concealed). Stamped "Leandro Martins & cia". Measurements: 110.5 x 140 x 51 cm The Frenchman Michel Dufet lived in Rio de Janeiro between 1922 and 1924, where he moved to direct the prestigious decoration firm Red Star. The Casa Leandro Martins manufacture was founded in Rio de Janeiro in 1885 and produced luxury furniture until the 1960s.
