Pair of partially gilded alabaster reliefs. They are presented in important Baroque frames of carved and gilded wood decorated with flowers, rocailles, and topped with scallop shells. This pair of reliefs exemplifies the significant demand for Flemish art at the Spanish court in the 17th century. The frames, of Spanish manufacture and made in the first half of the 18th century, accentuate the quality of the ensemble. They show minor defects and restorations. Dimensions: 51 x 35 cm.
