ISABELINE PARURE, GOLD, SILVER, PEARLS AND TURQUOISES

Isabelline parure in low-carat gold and silver, comprising two pairs of long earrings and a locket brooch. One of the pairs of earrings has foliate motifs decorated with seed pearls and turquoises, while the second is adorned with insect motifs and the same decoration of pearls and turquoises; one of the earrings shows damage. The set is completed with a locket brooch, whose front is dominated by a peacock with spread wings and tail, made with pearls and turquoises. The composition is framed by the locket, whose upper part is decorated with a garland protecting the glass. On the reverse it retains a photograph of a lady of the period. Accompanied by its original case, which shows losses. Weight: 43.2 g.
