Ansorena, a firm founded in 1845 and a historic benchmark in the world of art and jewellery, currently managed by the sixth generation of the family, announces the appointment of Alfonso Mato Yllera as its new Managing Director, a position he will assume as of January.

Alfonso Mato Yllera brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector, having built his career in international corporate banking, advising institutional clients, family-owned businesses and high-net-worth individuals. His deep understanding of the economic environment, together with his extensive network of national and international clients, strengthens Ansorena’s strategic positioning at a new stage of growth and expansion.

This appointment reflects the Board of Directors’ commitment to further promoting professional management that combines the rigour and excellence that have defined Ansorena since its founding with a modern, forward-looking vision of the jewellery and auction markets.

The Mato Ansorena family wishes to express its sincere gratitude to Jaime Mato G. Ansorena, who has served as CEO with steadfast commitment to the company and its clients. Jaime Mato will remain involved with Ansorena as a member of the Board of Directors, alongside the other family board members.
